Getting Married

October 15, 2007 | Personal Blogs, Doug

Last month I proposed to my girlfriend of two years, Anita. As anyone who has gotten married knows, the proposal was the easy part. My finance is extremely intelligent, very reasonable, and fairly financially savvy and wedding-planning can still become stressful! All I can say is: thank goodness I’m not marrying a dud!

The best part for me so far was having Luke Potter take our engagement portraits. Luke has been a friend for many years and both a photographic mentor and mentoree. I’ve assisted on many of Luke’s shoots and always enjoyed the sense of style and fun he brings out of his subjects.
