A short intro
February 13, 2008 | Lance, Personal Blogs
Before joining Capture Integration in late 2007, I spent just under two years as the Eastern Area Sales Manager for Phase One. This was a great experience that allowed me to get a perspective working on the manufacturers side of the industry. Prior to working at Phase One I had spent 17 years pioneering and equipping some of the best photographers in the world with medium format digital systems. It is nice to back working directly with the end-users as I feel that is my forte.
Since joining Capture Integration not only did I make the move down south from Philadelphia to Miami (ah,the weather) more on the move later, but the amount of support that I have received from the photo community has been simply amazing. I have rekindled old relationships and friendships of all kinds. It is really exciting to back to being able to offer solutions directly to photographers and offering them my support. Many of you that know me know I am always available to take a call or be there onsite to work through any issues that may arise. As a testament is a little note that one of my long time clients has put up on my Linkedin account unsolicited:
“Lance is great at providing the photographer with many options and solutions to their needs in a no pressure, but very informative way. Customer service is top notch. I received return calls within minutes while he was away on vacation. I would recommend him to anyone needing high end digital photography solutions” (Jeffery Totaro, 11/2007).
This is just a mere glimpse into my professional experience, but now that it is out of the way, I promise (Dave) to start regularly posting to my blog. You can be assured that it will not be all business, but an assortment of things that enter my life in the days and weeks that pass. I will also add links to my favorite websites and products I may think you’ll enjoy as well. This blog may ring familiar of a child with ADHD, but that is what will make it all the more interesting. Enjoy!
