These pre-owned backs, which are serviced and warrantied by Phase One prior to being resold, and sold with brand new accessories have been exceptionally popular. Flooding in Atlanta

In the past week Atlanta and the surrounding counties have received 22 inches of rain and 12 inches in the past 12 hours. Several of the interstates are closed due to rivers and creeks overflowing. Schools in most counties are also closed today. Below are several images of the Paces Ferry / Vinings area.

I founded Capture Integration with the idea that we didn’t need to follow the rules. If you know me, then you understand this completely! Proper customer service, personal attention to details, and a normal respect for the customer was missing in our region as well as our high end marketplace. Remembering these key principles and incorporating into our daily lives seemed like common sense but it is lacking in so many businesses today. Thus, I threw out all the ideas of what a “camera store” or “photo dealer” were and I created something so much more.

Saying it is one thing, but it was important to me that I instilled this attitude throughout the company. I have been extremely fortunate to have found the right mix of people that not only understood this concept but have been able to take it to the next level. I have the privilege to work with the some of the finest people that I have ever met in life, never mind in our industry. Their priorities in life are on target. If you don’t know them personally, I highly suggest getting to know them. You won’t regret it.

Steve’s 1st Blog at Capture Integration

So I decided to eat at Bobby & Junes Country Cooking in Atlanta on 14th street today for lunch despite the fact they pull together the BBQ sandwiches with bare fingers – does that make me a wussie? Anyway, it’s always delicious as long as you don’t peer into the kitchen prep area.

I’m very happy to be at Capture Integration, we’ve been friendly competitors over the years and it’s natural to join forces. Capture Integration values superlative service to customers, and I wouldn’t work anywhere that didn’t. Known for specializing on the Phase One product line, we actually sell and specialize on many products, ProFoto and Elinchrom lighting, Eizo & LaCie monitors, Arca Swiss and Cambo technical cameras, LaCie RAID storage systems and more.

What is especially gratifying is that we are now Leaf authorized dealers. My preference has always been to offer my customers a choice and together arrive at the best fit for them. By offering Phase One digital backs as well as Leaf digital backs, I can continue in this mode. I have years of experience selling Leaf solutions. Capture One 4.8.3 Released

Today Capture One 4.8.3 was released.

Capture Integration does it’s own independent testing of all Capture One releases. As a general guideline we do not recommend adopting new OS versions until at least a month or two after release; however, as a service to those who wish to tinker we have prepared a Snow Leopard Mac Pro and Snow Leopard Unibody 15″ MBP for testing with a Canon 5DII, 1Ds II, and P30+H. We will report our findings soon.

As a side note to those using versions of C1 earlier than 4.8.2: we found and continue to find 4.8.2 to be incredibly stable, fast, and reliable with only a very small number of bugs.

As a further note to anyone who has been waiting to switch from C1 3 to C1 4: we now fully endorse Capture One 4 Pro as a professional, stable, fast, and powerful piece of software. We have been running online classes to help our clients switch. If you haven’t switched yet then you are behind the game and missing out on some great new features and much improved workflow speed; consider taking the class and making the switch.
