If you do retouching or have a color-critical workflow you should seriously considering upgrading to an Eizo monitor. These monitors are purpose built for photography. They aren’t super bright, and they don’t excel at playing your kid’s DVDs. They are the best monitor in the world for viewing and editing photos in a color controlled environment.

Tech Product of April:Multi-Pop / Multi-Exposure adapterMiss using multiple strobe pops in one exposure?Digital photography provides many excellent solutions to photographic challenges. However, coming from 4×5 film you may miss one previously film-only technique: multiple strobe pops during one digital exposure. Our valued customer, Jeffrey Totaro, developed a unique switch-box that brings the multiple pop method to Phase One digital backs. After plugging the unit directly into the digital back you can start a multi-pop exposure by first pushing the Wakeup button and then toggling “Capture” to “Start”. Then you will can trigger the flash and shutter as many times as you would like. To finish the exposure simply toggle “Capture” to Stop. The device is available for purchase from Capture Integration. The device can also be used for other long exposure and multiple-exposure techniques. Check out Jeff’s article for more information about how this device is helping him produce stunning interiors.
