Gatherings: Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire MI – July 14-15, 2023
Come join Murray Elliott and Brad Kaye from Capture Integration to enjoy photographing the beautiful landscape that is Sleeping Bear National Park and the surrounding area.
You will have the opportunity to try the latest and greatest in medium format photographic equipment from Phase One, Hasselblad, and Fujifilm!
Itinerary
Friday, July 14th at 5pm:
* Meet and Greet over appetizers and beer.
* We’ll will leave from there to photograph the sunset
Saturday, July 15th at 8am:
* We’ll gather for breakfast
* Later that morning, our group will head to Sleeping Bear National Park to photograph the incredible dunes and Lake Michigan.
* Lunch
* The afternoon will be spent shooting.
* Dinner (Included in registration fee).
* After dinner, we will be shooting the sunset on the beach.
*Shooting locations and restaurants will be provided later

Not Included:

Travel to and from all destinations.
All other meals and drinks are attendees responsibility. We will have a cooler and ice for your water and soft drinks.
The beautiful views of Lake Michigan, an undulating coastline that provides myriad angles for mid-day and sunset shots, far enough north in latitude to catch the Northern Lights, Sleeping Bear Dunes is renowned for its serenity and beauty.
With average high temperatures in July just kissing 80º F, northwest Michigan provides a nice break from our muggy southern heat.

He has over a decade of experience shooting Phase One camera systems and mastering the various layers of Capture One Software. As lead Technical Support advisor at Capture Integration, Brad consults with and for the industry’s top photographers.
