At this time, it is not possible to browse images saved on the IQ4’s internal storage. This will be available in the next release of Cascable along with a Firmware update for the IQ4.

What hardware combination provides me the best performance with Cascable 6.0?

The fastest transfer speed of IIQ RAW files and Live View frame rate/resolution, is attained via Ethernet Cabled connection from IQ4 to iPad Pro (via RJ45 to USB-C Dongle).

Live View Zoom Level can go to 100% zoom. However, the quality of that preview will depend on your connection.

At this time, only previews of the IIQ RAW file are available when reviewing images. The resolution of this preview will depend on the amount of RAM available on your iOS device. Frame Averaging and Dual Exposure+ will be available in a future release of Cascable.

How do I control my IQ4 but not transfer RAW files to my iOS Device?

Cascable 6.0 can act as the host for the IQ4 tethering. However, if your device has limited storage space you may wish to turn this feature off. You can do so via the Storage options on the IQ4, turning “Host Storage” to “Disabled” via the Advanced features.
