After some delay, the formidable Rodenstock 138mm is finally available in X-shutter. Pictured above in Cambo short barrel configuration, the X-shutter levels up over the Aperture Only mount with up to 1/1000th second leaf shutter capability for syncing strobe or freezing motion without rolling shutter artifacts.

As Steve Hendrix has written previously, the newest in Rodenstock optics does not disappoint in terms of optical fidelity, and is likely the sharpest lens that Rodenstock has ever produced.
