Client in The News: Daniel Paik
Great Client, Great Work, Fast Turnaround!
Daniel Paik’s Shots of The Tom Wolfe Literary Prizes Dinner Featured in Vanity Fair
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Daniel Paik over many years. He’s been a great client, but also a friend, and someone I enjoy spending time with. So he called me a few weeks back. It was a Thursday. We talked about several things, but then he asked if I had a Profoto A2 in stock. I said I did – but not only that, I had a nice copy of a demo unit available for $200 off new pricing. Deal, he said, but could he get it by Monday? Absolutely, I said. He ended up receiving it on Saturday. He had a shoot on Tuesday (the shoot above), and he thought it might be a good light to use for that (it was). He sent me published images on Wednesday.
So we have light arriving on Saturday. Shoot on Tuesday. Published on Wednesday. Such is the nature of turnaround in 2025.
