The Limited Edition M10 Monochrom “Leitz Wetzlar”

The Limited Edition Leica M10 Monochrom “Leitz Wetzlar” camera boasts the same features as the standard version. The difference between the Leica M10 Monochoms is the added “Leitz Wetzlar” engraving on the top plate. Leica says that the engraving makes for a more classic look. The Leica M10 Monochrom is hand-crafted by accomplished specialists using superior-quality materials and elaborate methods of engineering. Equipped with a newly developed image sensor, the camera delivers an extremely high-quality rendition with breathtaking detail resolution. The absence of a color filter array and exceedingly high sensor resolution of 40 megapixels result in an unprecedented depiction of even the finest details, along with an exceptionally natural-looking sharpness.

The Limited Edition Summilux-M 35 f / 1.4 ASPH “Leitz Wetzlar”

The Limited Edition Summilux-M 35 f/ 1.4 ASPH lens has a “Leitz Wetzlar’ engraving on the front. The overall monochromatic design aesthetic, featuring gray and white engravings and a white index dot, perfectly matches the camera body. The Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH pairs moderate wide-angle characteristics with natural dimensions, which make this focal length very versatile. To achieve outstanding imaging performance at closer focusing distances, the lenses behind the aperture blades are constructed as a floating group. This group changes its position relative to the front lens group during focusing. Another new feature is a full-metal, rectangular, screw-mount lens hood that contributes significantly to the compact dimensions of the lens.
